source and documents obtained by Reuters news agency.

This offer is intended
to look for valuable patent rights in the middle of a feud with Apple in corporate
market.
Samsung from South
Korea offers a starting price of around US$ 13.35 to US$ 15.49 per share,
representing a premium 38% to 60% of Blackberry trading price recent, according
to sources on Wednesday (14/1).
The executives of both
companies met last week to discuss the potential transaction, the source said.
However, efforts of
Samsung to buy Blackberry seems not smooth.
On Wednesday, Canadian
newspaper, The Globe and Mail also reported that Blackberry has rejected a
takeover proposal in recent months because the board of directors and its
largest investors feel the restructuring strategy of company will deliver
shareholder value greater than acquisition bids. (Reuters)
